Rosey Skin Journal shortlisted for a Consensus Innovation Award
Building a skincare brand beyond the bottle.
Rosey Skin brings high-performance skincare for sensitive, redness-prone skin into a world of colour, luxury and sensory ritual. Alongside the formulas, the Rosey Skin Journal extends the brand’s purpose into a digital space for noticing skin, recording observations and making room for reflection.
-
Coreena wanted luxurious, pleasurable skincare created for sensitive, redness-prone skin. The opportunity was to build a distinctive brand that paired considered formulas with a rich sensory experience, supported by the organising belief: Created for mind and skin.
That belief needed to shape more than packaging and marketing. It became the foundation for the products, imagery, language and a companion app that gives people a place to notice.
-
Rosey Skin is Coreena’s own business. This case study reflects her work as its founder, bringing together brand strategy, product development, creative direction, marketing and digital product development.
Coreena led the brand from concept to launch, working with formulation, manufacturing, testing and creative specialists. She also conceived, designed and developed the Rosey Skin Journal using AI-assisted development tools.

The Rosey Skin Journal is a companion experience built around noticing. It brings skin observations, personal journalling, reflective prompts and editorial content into one considered space.
The work covered the app’s purpose, information architecture, interface, copy and development. Features include recording skin observations and exporting them for personal reference or to support a conversation with a treating professional. The app extends the Rosey world beyond purchase and gives people another way to engage with its mind-and-skin philosophy

We developed the positioning, messaging and visual direction around sensitive, redness-prone skin, with luxury and sensory pleasure central to the experience. Red glass bottles and expressive photography give the brand a recognisable presence.
The Complete Elixir and Serum Spritz were developed with Australian formulation and manufacturing specialists. The work brought together formulation, packaging, product testing and cosmetic claims, alongside the commercial and operational decisions required to launch.
-
Coreena directed product and brand photography to bring the formulas, textures and rituals to life. The resulting imagery supports the website, social content and wider brand communications.
The launch work connected the ecommerce website, product education and founder storytelling, giving Rosey a consistent identity across its customer touchpoints.

Rosey Skin launched on 9 September 2026 with two Australian-made, independently patch-tested formulas, supported by a distinctive brand identity, ecommerce website and product photography.
The Rosey Skin Journal extends “Created for mind and skin” into a companion digital experience, bringing skin observations, journalling and editorial content together in a place to notice. The app was shortlisted for a Consensus Award.
Early customer feedback includes five-star reviews, with customers sharing their experiences of the formulas and sensory ritual.
